EyeGuide® Focus™ is the second generation eye tracking device tailored for on site concussion symptom detection. Multiple generations of prototypes were developed to determine the optimal camera angle and illumination location. The prototype was further refined to improve performance and ease of setup out of a hard shell case.

Worked with Grinbath LLC now EyeGuide to develop a headset style mobile eye tracking platform.

Lead the design efforts for Pioneer Energy's Mobile Alkane Gas Separator system and Portable Enhanced Recovery Technology.

Lead designer for a Brewery Fermentation CO2 capture system

To spend more time with the wife and dogs, while still maintaining a large monitor and comfortable seating, I decided to modify a sit/stand swing arm monitor mount I found on amazon to fit beside the recliner couch. Most important was being able to make it without damaging or modifying the couch to keep the wife happy.

I even went so far as to model the whole arm, with proper articulation, to better understand just how it would fit on the sofa. I modeled the sub frame from the sofa and took measurements to understand just how far the new arm mount would need to be.

Further refining the design by designing a new storage compartment which holds my speakers.

Both of our moms quilt, so we have many quilts and blankets in our house. Not wanting to just stack them in a closet, my wife proposed a blanket ladder. I thought it would be a fun project and my first real attempt to make a piece of furniture without using any screws. For this project I planned to use mortise and tenon joints for the rungs and to chisel out the mortise holes. Power tools were used on the tenons and to plane the 2x4 pine wood smooth.

I built a custom ottoman for our recliner sofa to fit in front of the middle seat to allow us and our dogs to sit on the sofa together.

While my little dog does not like to sit by us, we do get the occasional time together
